You might think it’s too expensive to sponsor a local event, but there are immeasurable rewards to reap if you do, and various investment tiers from which to take advantage! Besides the brand awareness, leads, and ROI you’ll inevitably gain, remember that your company’s name will be forever linked with the emotional connection felt at the event! This isn’t something that should be overlooked or taken lightly. Studies have overwhelmingly shown that people are far more likely to be loyal to a brand/company when there is a positive emotional link to them.
Case in point: In 2018, Croakies returned as a proud sponsor of the Pacific Paddle Games – the biggest SUP event in the world! We actually created the custom 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place belts given to the winners in each division, and had our brand name on the giant inflatable buoys the racers had to circle twice before heading back to shore – two of the most photographed moments of the day!
We also handed out thousands of custom-imprinted Croakies to the event-goers to keep their shades safe when out on the water (and on the beach)! Relevant products are more likely to see greater use from recipients, whether during the event or beyond!
Pro Tip:Most local events have affordable tiers for sponsorship that make it an option for every company’s wallet-size. My advice? Find a local event with high turnout that you feel you have a niche product for and go for it! All advertising is good advertising!
